Overview: System administration

As the systems administrator of a TAO installation, you will have the role of Global Manager. This functional role allows full access to TAO. This section describes how to handle typical administrative issues in TAO.

There is a chapter on Changing the IP of your TAO instance, should it need to be moved on the network. The Maintenance Mode chapter tells you how to put TAO into maintenance mode if you need to take your TAO installation off-line for any reason. Finally, TAO can be configured for an overall default language as well as a separate language for guests. You can find out how to do this in the chapter Setting languages.
