October 2024 Release

We’re excited to share the product updates in our October release!

TAO Authoring updates & fixes:

  • Fixed: When importing QTI packages with the new “QTI metadata as properties” option, properties with the “List – Single” type were not imported.

TAO Advance updates & fixes:

  • Tooltips: Tooltips can be added to any part of the text for regular QTI interactions and the Text Reader PCI. Tooltips will be displayed as additional information to test-takers when they hover over or click on the highlighted text.

TAO Portal updates & fixes:

  • MFA through email: Users can now configure Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) via email for all users with verified emails. If you are interested in this possibility, please reach out to your Account Manager to enable it.

  • Custom feedback for test-takers: Scorers can now leave custom feedback for test-takers for selected text from a test taker’s response. The feedback is then displayed in the test review, both for the teacher and for the student.

  • Automatic test review for test-takers: A new session review option triggers the test review automatically as soon as the test-taker submits a session.

  • Fixed: In some cases, selecting the Session overview button from the Not started tab (in the live session monitoring) opened a wrong link.
