Open Assessment Technologies is looking for a Front-End Developer to join our agile team in Spain and to help us establish OAT as the undisputed leader in open assessment and education technology solutions.
As a Frontend developer at OAT, you will be building interactive components and major features using Svelte, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. You will be implementing responsive designs considering browser compatibility, accessibility, and user experience in mind. You will also collaborate closely with your colleagues in design and product and bring delightful designs to life.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
- At least 6 years of experience
- Comfortable collaborating with others while showing respect to ideas and opinions
- Take on tasks proactively when blocked elsewhere
- Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript
- Good knowledge with VCS (Git)
- Take a security by design approach for new systems
- Able to debug and profile code
- Applies the software development best practices and clean code principles
- Anticipate and share schedule deviations in advance
- Communicate effectively to close stakeholders when called upon, and incorporates constructive feedback
