Groups Management
A Group is useful when you want to create a set of users (for example, a classroom) that will be enrolled to the same test event (session, see Session Management)
The groups management is accessible:
- by Global Admin without any restrictions
- by Group Creator, who will only see the groups he created
- by Group Manager, who will only see the groups in which is enrolled as a Group manager
Only the users with the Global Admin and Group Creator roles can create new groups.
The Groups Management page can be accessed via the “Groups” tile on the homepage, or via the top bar menu (Groups):
The groups management page shows the following view:
You will see a table listing all the groups of the TAO Portal.
The available information includes the following:
- Name: the name assigned to group when created
- Description: the description assigned to group when created/updated
- Test taker: the number of users enrolled to the given group as test-taker
- Scorers: the number of users enrolled to the given group as scorer
- Group managers: the number of users enrolled to the given group as group-manager
- Sessions: the number of session created for the given group (see Session management paragraph)
Disabled groups are shown as below:
The list can be ordered by Name or Description clicking on the header of the table
The search box on top-left of the table can be used to search for Groups; it takes into account Name and Description.
