Linking a Test with Automatic Scoring
When a TAO test is scored in an LMS, AGS publishes that score to the LMS gradebook automatically. To view grades for completed assessments, select Courses>Grades.
Linking a Test with Manual Scoring
For tests that contain items with outcome declarations set as External Scored and defined as Human, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to the Courses section in the menu on the left of the window.
- In the course menu, navigate to Assignments.
- In the new assignment form, under Submission Type, enter the external tool URL for TAO.
- Select the green checkmark to publish the assignment.
The test taker will then be able to view and complete the assessment. - If manual scoring is configured, the ability to grade the assessment becomes available once the test taker has completed the assessment. In the course’s menu, select Home.
- Under To do in the Home page, you will see the option to grade the assessment.
Once the test is manually scored, AGS publishes that score to the LMS gradebook automatically. To view grades for completed assessments, select Courses>Grades. TAO informs the LMS via AGS that grading is not yet graded after the student submits the delivery. After manual scoring is complete, the LMS will display grading as fully graded.
